Jethost Pledges Support to Tear Fund NZ

Jethost has established a relationship with TEAR Fund NZ to support their Microenterprise programme. Jethost recognises the importance of charities and to support those in need.

Tear Fund's Micro Enterprise programme has been successfully running for more than 10 years, providing small loans and training for the poor, to enable them to establish small businesses in developing countries. Loans are repaid and re-loaned to others again and again, assisting familes to care for themselves with dignity and hope. No hand outs, just a hand up.

Jethost provides every customer that signs up for a web hosting account, with the opportunity to donate 5% of their account fees to Microenterprise. There is no additional cost to the customer, it simply ensures 5% of the fees paid to Jethost, are forwarded to TEAR Fund's Microenterprise programme.

When signing up for a web hosting account, Jethost strongly encourages customers to tick the "donate 5% of my fee to TEAR Fund" box. Managing Director Tim Johnson says, The more customers who do this, the more funds that will be forwarded to TEAR Fund to assist those in need through Microenterprise.
